My collection is a tribute to the Asian traditional dress cheongsam. I grew up partially in Vietnam and fell in love with the culture. I wanted to weave a traditional and modern feel together. I also wanted to play with the idea of androgyny with my male outfit. As the world is ever-changing and androgyny becomes prevalent in our society it allows the clothes to breathe a sense of rebellion towards these traditions that at times are extremely conservative. This can allow a ritual to live on even in modern times.
